INFORMATION: Due to the design of each model, the optimum height of the user for specific models is as shown in the following table:
RULES: If the sleeping bag length is modified, the amount of down will be altered in such a manner so as to provide identical thermal parameters as the standard size. It is advisable to begin by selecting the desired length and width, and then to alter the amount of down, if required.
INFORMATION: The standard width is appropriate for 95% of users. It is not advisable to widen the sleeping bag, unless it is really necessary. A well fitted sleeping bag provides better insulation.
RULES: If the sleeping bag is widened, the amount of down will be altered in such a manner so as to provide identical thermal parameters as the standard size sleeping bag. It is advisable to begin by selecting the desired length and width, and then to alter the amount of down, if required.
INFORMATION: Choose this option, if you want a given area to be made from water-proof fabric, providing better protection against moisture. The rest of the sleeping bag shall be made from the previously selected base fabric. We rather suggest changing the entire outer fabric to Pertex Quantum Pro, as this is a slightly cheaper solution, while keeping the breathability at almost the same level.
RULES: If you change one of the components to Pertex Quantum Pro fabric, the entire sleeping bag (outer or inner) will be changed to the colour selected from the available Quantum Pro colours.
INFORMATION: It is strongly advised to leave the standard filling ratio at 55/45. This is an optimum solution, which allows efficient insulation to be obtained. A 50/50 ratio would result in a greater amount of down being compressed under the user and not used as insulation. A 65/35 ratio would result in the sleeping bag always having to be set in the correct position, to provide appropriate insulation. Therefore, we recommend custom filling ratios only to those users who know it to be the best solution for them for specific reasons.
INFORMATION: Choose this option in order to increase the insulation in a given section of the sleeping bag. This will increase down density in a given place, but it will also make the sleeping bag a bit heavier.
RULES: For each model and size, the down amount that can be added is set and cannot be adjusted.
A zipper 5 mm wide is a standard, extremely resistant fastener, which is used in almost all of the sleeping bags. In order to reduce the weight of the sleeping bag, choose a 3 mm wide zipper.
A full-length zipper (1/1) provides a very convenient way of entering and exiting the sleeping bag, as well as ventilation of the leg area, however, not everyone requires such a solution. Choose a shorter zipper, if you desire a lighter sleeping bag and do not need the full-length zipper.
